Dr. Clark Stevens provides counseling to individuals (adolescents and adults), couples, and
families. He has experience treating a wide range of personal and relational issues including depression and anxiety
disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and loss, adjustment to life transitions, identity and life purpose, premarital
and marital counseling, relational and family restoration. His enjoys offering counseling services to members of faith-based
communities, and is solution-focused in a manner designed to be short-term and cost-effective. . Dr. Stevens received his doctorate in clinical
psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UT Southwestern). Clinical training included
internships at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Southwest Family Institute, and the University Rehabilitation Center at UT Southwestern,
and gained clinical experience at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Terrell State Hospital--Geriatric Psychiatry,
and Southwestern Adult Clinic at UT Southwestern. . Dr. Stevens served on the faculty of UT Southwestern Medical Center as an Assistant Clinical Professor and has
partnered in Christian counseling practices since 1994. In addition, he maintains involvement with the American
Association of Christian Counselors.
